Garden Of The Royal Bank Of Canada

On October 10th, the Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) celebrated its 150th birthday with a special event at its garden in Toronto. The occasion was marked by a speech from the bank's CEO, David McKay, and a presentation on the bank's role in Canadian society.

The celebration began with a cake-cutting ceremony, followed by an open-air reception. The guests were treated to refreshments and speeches from various dignitaries.

One of the highlights of the day was an appearance by Charlotte Desjardins, who designed RBC's garden as part of her design project for the bank. The event also featured a performance by Canadian singer/songwriter Charli XCX.

Afterwards, it was time for some fun! Guests were able to explore RBC's gardens for themselves before enjoying a variety of activities such as games and walks. In addition, there was even an exhibition on RBC's history and culture.

Overall, this was an excellent day for all involved - from guests to employees! It seems that RBC has really started to connect with Canadians through its design projects and events. We're really excited to see what else they have in store for us over the next few years!

The Breast Cancer Now Garden: A Closer Look

A beautiful chat between two cancer survivors about their garden represents the love and support they have for one another. The volunteers at the volunteer garden, Sue Stannard and her friend, Jane, have been working hard to create a beautiful garden that is both welcoming and inspiring.

The garden is full of plants that are meant to help promote healthy skin, hair, and nails. There are also benches and tables where people can sit and talk about their experiences with cancer. It's a great place to come to get away from it all, and it's also great for getting to know one another better.
